Who was Sharna Brooke Burgin? 23-years-old Mother Killed in Crash

A young mother was killed in a horrific car accident when her Mercedes collided with a taxi. On February 26, Sharna Brooke Burgin, 23, was a passenger in a blue Mercedes GLA that collided with a silver Hackney Carriage taxi. At around 1.25 a.m., emergency services rushed to the scene in Sheffield, Yorkshire, and Sharna was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police confirmed that she died the next day. She is survived by a young daughter.

The suspected driver of the Mercedes, a 23-year-old Sheffield man, fled the scene before officers arrived and surrendered to police.
